I wish there was a God, but there isn’t one. I think people that devote their entire lives to serving others deserve something….and that’s what makes religion so sad, it’s false hope. I mean, to the great men in history that believed and fought for others to die for nothing but a lie is really, really sad; but that’s the way it is. To the soldiers, i have no political affiliation, that die for their country I think they should get something; but they wont. It’s not fair but it’s the way it is. My Father used to say to me all the time, “Son you’re not going to like what you have to do all the time, but you still have to do it.” That is an important quote that I carry with me, because I think most religious people think that because you don’t believe in a God you can’t have morals; I do good because it’s good…not because I’m trying to get something. I think that the people that formed all the MAJOR religious establishments back in the day knew it was all B.S., they did it to make others do what they wanted. Take polygamists for example, come on…the men are a bunch of perv pedophiles that know what they’re doing is for their own sexual pleasure and not for the “will of God.” I think the founders of religions need to be brought to the current times and made to see what their lies have caused, then be slapped right in the mouth.
